Last night we went with Bridger to Millcreek Junior High for the orientation. It's kind of cute the start out in the Gym and talk to them and the cheerleaders do a little cheer, the band plays, the principal talks. Then they divide you into groups and you follow the school officers around and they take you to different stations. Out first station was the lunch room they show them how to do it and the go thru the lunch line and they give them a Popsicle. In other rooms they talk to them about some of the classes and what they do. What classes to sign up for, talk to the band teacher if you need to. In the last rotation that we went to we handed in out papers for what classes we want and they get to try and open a locker. It is a good idea, cuz the kids get to see the school and it helps them not be so scared on the first day. they have other times they go to the school too.
Bridger said he's not a scared to go now. Before he thought he would through up on the first day. I'm hoping that doesn't happen!!!
