IT'S BEEN A WHILE

Well, I am tired; of thinking about the salon, but I don't really know what else to blog about, apparently it has consumed our lives, for now anyway.

The school year is coming to an end. This is always hard for me. The kids birthdays are not a problem, but the end of a school year seems like the have aged so much. Guess what? they have.

Katlyn is finishing her sophomore year at bountiful High school. Now she will be a JUNIOR!!!!! AAAAHHHH. She is going to the DATC starting June 9th. She is going to take the Nail section of the cosmetology classes. She is registered and went up and bought her nail supplies, it all came in a rolling suitcase. It is all black patten leather/ It is pretty cute and she is excited to start. Now very excited that it starts at 7:40 AM for most of the summer.

Paige is finishing up her 8th grade year at Millcreek Junior High, she is going to be in 9th grade? Can you believe that? I can't! she is going to be gone most of the summer. She is going to EFY on June and then to Girls Camp in July and Hawaii with us in August. She is so excited to go and have a GREAT time in all these new adventures.

Bridger is ending his years at Oak Hills Elementary, and moving on the Junior High. He will be with Paige at Millcreek. He is still playing baseball and is going to try out for the all-star team. He is mowing his Grandma Smith's lawn each week, and earning pretty good money. He will start band in July and and is going to play the trumpet.

Sadie is going to be in 4th grade next year! She will be all by herself at the Elementary. She just finished soccer, for this year and is going to play again next year. She is loving activity days and playing with her friends. She can't wait until the pool in our backyard is open. She is just going to swim all summer.

Blaine and I are just trying to figure out this salon stuff. We are remodeling the Salon. Adding two more massage rooms and 5 more hair stations, 3 more sinks, and a front desk. We will also need to paint the whole place when they are done. Blaine is busy with jewelry repairs, not to much selling, but at least people are still coming. Blaine and Bridger have been going on some camp out. Working on one of the last two merit badges Bridger needs before he came work on his eagle. They have to do quite a bit on the camping merit badge. it is a hard one.

We are looking forward to our annual fishing trip and BBQ on Memorial day, that will be a good break.

Kris maybe it's good your'e busy, then you'll have less time to think about only having one in elementary school! We'll have to come check out your salon one of these days. Are you open for business or still getting ready?

Open and still getting ready. we are closed on Mondays for now to get the work done, without the girls there.
