Our life has been a whirlwind the last few days. It's seems like it has been a year, and it has only been four days.
Yesterday (Sunday) Blaine and I went to a hair convention is Salt Lake. There were some really weird people there. They had some guy from "So you think you can dance" there and he was the DJ for "Big sexy hair" (that is the name of some hair product). He was playing music while some guys were cutting hair. They had the holsters for their scissors and hair dryers. (lol) We had a guy that got us free tickets to get in he took us around and introduced us to people that were the presidents of hair companies. They were trying to get our business. It was pretty interesting. We ordered a few things.
Today, (Monday) we had a whole bunch of people come and tear out some walls, and install a vacuum system, jack hammer the floor to make a 2nd bathroom, and some electrical work. There is sheet rock dust EVERYWHERE!!!! and tonight we have to go clean everything up. because tomorrow we are open. We are making a double massage room for people to have couples massages. That is the new hot thing, apparently.
We are learning tons of stuff. Like: the back bar - that is the shampoo and conditioner they use to wash your hair before you get it cut.
P.S. Don't even ask me what a Brazilian wax is.

Oh my heck! Sounds like,fun, work,stress,overwhelmed. We'll have to come by and see.
Ha, ha, ha! It's funny how every industry has kind-of it's own lingo. You meant that the back bar was the shampoo 'area' right? Not the name of the shampoo itself? :) Just be glad that you don't have to "DO" a Brazilian. (shudder)
